Description of Elective Experience: 

Student will experience the role of the veterinarian in aquaculture within a governmental setting.  Due to COVID, certain restrictions have been put in place, as such efforts will be made to conduct the rotation virtually. Learning will take place through self-directed projects, deliberation on case studies, rounds discussions of primary literature, and virual tours of hatcheries.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?: 

Student will be expected to engage in the rotation from ~9am-5pm daily Monday to Friday. While some of the rotation will take place through virtual meetings, other portions of the rotation will require the student to self-direct studies.
