Regarding AAHA Accredidation - The American Animal Hospital Association is the only organization to accredit companion veterinary hospitals. The AAHA Standards of Accreditation are composed of 940 standards and 18 categories covering all areas of veterinary practice—from anesthesia and pain management to recordkeeping and client communication. Pets are our passion, and keeping them healthy is our #1 priority. Regarding Cat Friendly Certtification - The Cat Friendly Practice program is a global initiative designed to elevate care for cats by reducing stress and making visits easier for cats and caregivers. Our team members understand how to approach and handle cats in a gentle, empathetic, and caring manner.
We have full in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, ultrasound, laser therapy, stem cell therapy, platelet-rich plasma therapy, anesthetic monitoring, suction, hot air blanket equipment, and much more. We foster communication, leadership, and continued education for all staff members. We have an experienced practice management team to support you and all of our team members. We primarily hire experienced staff members in our technical and client care departments. We have excellent staff support throughout the hospital with optimal doctor-to-technician ratios in exam rooms and in surgery. We are a modern practice with the latest technology for communicating with clients and staff members including being a paperless practice.
40 hours a week, 5 days a week, (can be modified). Stuedents will be shadowing doctors in all areas of the practice from exam rooms to surgery. Students will be asked to answer medical questions and come up with medical reasoning for all cases and review all lab work.
