Description of Elective Experience:
Exposure to, and training in, all aspects of small animal first-opinion paractice, with some surgical referals from the surrounding area.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
AAHA-Accredited practice, one veterinanrian and 5 support staff, VIN subscription, mentoring and mentoring in all memdical and surgical procedures, as well as client communication.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
M-F 8-12 and 1-6. Time off dring the weekmay be granted at the discretion of the practice owner/mentor. No weekend or evening hours.
