Description of Elective Experience:
Student will be required to work 40 hours per week. During that time, she will have access to shadowing surgical procedures, performing in-house diagnostics and providing preventative care.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
The Evansville location currently employs four full time doctors with various experience levels. We offer a variety of in-house diagnostics including Idexx blood analyzers, digital radiographs and dental digital radiographs.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
The student is expected to work 40 hours per week. She will be both shadowing the doctors as well as expanding her skill set.
