At Platte Lake Veterinary Clinic, located in Honor, Michigan, we serve a diverse range of medical and surgical cases and are open to seeing all species including exotic and small livestock.  Daily procedures include dental care, dermatology and soft tissue surgery, including some orthopedics.  We are equipped with in-house lab, digital full body radiography, digital dental radiography and full pharmacy.  For the last 30 years, we have developed a long standing and excellent clientele who trust us to develop an educated healthcare plan for each of their pets.

Our devoted and skilled staff (including two licensed veterinary technicians who are also certified in veterinary dentistry) strive to practice “fear free” patient handling to help reduce the stress of clinic visits for our clients and their pets.

Our practice is located in a beautiful 4 season’s area touting 57 inland lakes and rivers in our county alone.  We have endless biking and hiking trails, as well as great outdoor opportunities for fishing, boating, watersports, canoeing, snowmobiling, skiing and more…. a great place to raise a family!  With just a short drive to Lake Michigan, Crystal Lake and The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, our clinic caters to quite a few quaint, safe resort towns such as Frankfort, Beulah and Lake Ann, as well as many others in the surrounding areas.  We are located thirty minutes west from the shops and night life of Traverse City.
