Description of Elective Experience:
Student shadows doctors daily and depending on studen comfort and coach dr comfort, can perform physical exams, collect samples, scrub in for surgery, collaborate on client communication.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Fully staffed and equipped small animal general practice.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Amount of time is flexible. Typically our doctors work 8-10 hour days.
