The student will have hands on experience in the real world of small animal medicine, dentistry and surgery working with clients and staff on preventative medical, internal medical, hospitalized, soft tissue surgical and dental cases. Busy east side Columbus Ohio practice that is well equipped.
Full inhouse Idexx laboratory, cold laser therapy, digital radiography, perform cytologies, fecal analysis, skin scrapes, preventative care and vaccinations.
Two full time registered Veterinary Technicians, Office manager, Two veterinary assistants, kennel tech and groomer.
To begin with Students will shadow for several days and be allowed hands on practice as much as they are deemed capable of. It is our hope that they can become competant in all aspects of practice and experience client interaction as well.
