Description of Elective Experience:
Veterinary students will have the chance to gain abundant mixed animal practice experience in suburban/rural Kentucky.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Students are welcome to gain additional experience on after hours large animal emergency calls and Saturdays from 8am to 1pm, but this is not required. Student may shadow but will be invited to participate in procedures as they and the attending veterinarian see fit to their comfort and abilities.
Student Housing (include costs, amenities, pet friendly, contact info if different from elective contact info):
No cost apartment above the clinic. Kitchen and bathroom with shower also available at the veterinary clinic.
