Description of Elective Experience:
Busy general practice with a lot of internal medicine and surgical experience. Client communications and specialists for internal medicine, ultrasound and echocardiograms frequently travel to this hospital.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Ultrasound, digital X-ray and dental X-rays and surgical electrocautery and LVT’s working with each doctor. Each doctor has an LVT and assistant.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
We like to incorporate a students experience into our day to day appointments and surgeries. Shadowing and mentoring also is our approach, but we like the student to participate
hours are 8:30-5:30 pm M-F and 9-1 on Saturdays
