Description of Elective Experience:
We are a mixed animal practice. During the experience, the student can expect to experience hands on learning opportunities with a variety of species.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
We have a large staff comprised of 2 RVTs and several support staff. We have in house lab work, digital radiography, and ultrasound.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
The student is expected to shadow 5 days per week with additional opportunities provided outside of those hours. We expect the student to show up on time and be willing to learn.
Student Housing (include costs, amenities, pet friendly, contact info if different from elective contact info):
Our current housing is a small room in the personal home of the practice owner. This housing is provided free of charge but is not pet friendly.
