Description of Elective Experience:
Large animal practice, mostly equine, some cattle and goats.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
X-ray, Ultrasound, Gastroscope, Lameness Locator, Pro-Stride machine, SAA.
1 full time Equine Vet, 2 part time mixed animal vets.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Our hours are M-F 8:00am to 4:00pm. Students can be and are expected to be hands on. We will work on anything they are interested in learning.
