Description of Elective Experience:
We expect the person to shadow the doctor, help with running blood work & xrays. The doctor will also allow the student to observe surgery; they may also be able to help with doing dentals and easy procedures.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
We run in house tests and xrays - there are 5 doctors on staff and much to learn from each of them
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
We are a 7 day a week facility and we try to have the students shadow Dr. Drozd, the owner of the practice - so she would decide what hours would be good to have the student in
