Description of Elective Experience:
Externs will rotate with our general practice and emergency doctors during their externship.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
We are a large hybrid 24/hr hospital that sees a heavy case-load and practices great medicine. We have close to 35 doctors on staff.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Externs will shadow and work with one of our doctors. They are expected to be here 5 days/week and work 7:30am to 5:30pm.
