Westview is a mixed animal hospital with an emphasis on small animal medicine/surgery. Westview also has a large equine practice in reproduction, lameness as well as acupuncture/chiropractic. The experience will involve problem solving and case management with the clinicians as well as tecinical practice with veterinarians and technitians.
On-line as well as library. All staff are RVTs and multiple veterinarians at different levels of experience.
The student will have an option to decide if they would prefer ambulatory in house or a mix of both. We prefer the student to get involved and do hands on more than merely watching everything. Communication with clients is also encouraged, with an emphasis on history and treatment discussions. We also have 2 other small animal hospitals with in 20 miles that are available for experience as well.
