Description of Elective Experience:
Students rotate with both the general pracitioners as well as the specialists to see various aspects of veterinary medicine
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Digital radiography
Ultrasound
Endoscopy
in house lab
Residency trained pathologist on staff
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Usually students put in 40 hours a week. Days vary depending on student interest. Most of their time is shadowing clinicians however there is oportunity for hands on expierence when the situation arises.
