Description of Elective Experience:
Our elective experience will be hands on small animal hospital physical exams, case workups, exaluating bloodwork, dental work (extrractions), and More surgery is possible at the local Shelter (spays and neuters).
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Multi doctor Small animal practice, 2 LVT, 4 assistants , digital Radiography, ultrasound, medicine surgery, digital dental radiography.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Monday -Friday 8-5 shadowning or working under direct supervision of a Veterinarian.
