Description of Elective Experience:
We are a mixed animal practice that offers companion medicine and surgery along with large animal farm visits and a haul in/hospitalization facility.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
We have a staff of 4 mixed practice veterinarians, 3 registered vet techs, 2 vet assistants, and an office manager. We provide 24 hour (on call) emergency services, digital xray, abaxis diagnostic testing, and availablitity to ship to outside labs for additional diagnostics. We have 3 stocked vet trucks for farm visits as well.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Hours are 8-5 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Wednesday 8-7 and Saturday 8-12. If they stay at the office, they have the availability to assist with after hour emergencies.

Free stay for students with sleeping quarters, shower, microwave, and wifi.
