Description of Elective Experience: 

We are a privately owned, small animal general practice in Cincinnati, OH.  Our group consists of three hospitals focused on high quality medicine, compassionate care, and excellent client service. We are a high volume general practice performing 10-12 surgeries and 45-60 outpatient appointments per day, per location.  Our group currently has 16 veterinarians on staff with 4 practicing at this location, which will give you mentorship from a wide range of perspectives. 

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.: 

Dr. Wendy Vogel, Dr. Monika Peron, Dr. Jay Aggarwal, and Dr. Tim Combs currently practice full time at this office alongside a rotating intern veterinarian. This office is equipped with digital xray, ultrasound, video endoscope, cold laser, and surgical laser to name a few. In addition to textbooks and online resources we will also expose you to our very own mentoring resources and video library. 

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?: 

Students will be given full exposure to outpatients, internal medicine, surgery cases and any staff and doctor meetings that occur during the internship.
