Rural mixed animal practice with 3 practicing veterinarian, we also have a boarded internal specialist at the clinic one day a week. Large and small, we do it all with a few exotics at times.
Digital radiography, blood analyzers, cold laser, ultrasound, full pharmacy, video otoscopes, free standing autoclave, Computer record with Impro Med, and financial records with Impro Med as well.

Depending on the time of year, ranch country work and palpations and ultrasounding. Some calving and a fair amount of surgery SA most of the time.
Clinic is open 7:30 AM to 5;00 PM Monday thru Friday and 7:30 to 12:00 noon on Saturday. On call for all emergencies at all other times, but not many out of hours emergencies. Maybe one per week, sometimes not that many and other times a couple more. Students' experience and classes already taken at school, dictates what they are allowed to do, otherwise they will learn how we do it from here. Hands on as much as their experience will allow, otherwise shadowing and learning. We challenge students' anatomy and clinical science skills and health programs that we institute with our beef calf ranches. NO DAIRY here.
Housing and most meals included with the preceptorship for services rendered, helping with kennel chores morning and evening and assisting technicians in lab work up of cases. Or going to the ranch and learning palpation and ultrasound pregnancy checks. No pets please, we have plenty of small animals at the hospital that need our loving.
