Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:

The ASPCA Animal Hospital (AAH) is a nonprofit animal hospital on the Upper East Side of Manhattan that provides high-quality, specialized, and general medical care to animals belonging to the public, as well as to shelter animals and those who have been victims of cruelty.

You will have access to appointments, treatment rooms, internal medicine, and surgery.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:

3rd year veterinary students are allowed to assist with animal restraint and comfort care. 4th year veterinary students are allowed to assist in the same capacity they would during their clinical year in school. This includes scrubbing into surgery if the caseload allows.
