Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:

Follow our many veterinarians in their day-to-day at our ER, or at one of the two day practices. Learn by doing, get hands-on, and collaborate with veterinarians on inpatient, outpatient, and emergency cases. You will learn how to use, utilize, and interpret diagnostic imaging (including CT and detailed ultrasound), run and interpret lab work, take the reins under direct supervision, scrub into surgery (including orthopedic), and much more. You may start as a shadow, but you will be hands-on in no time.
