Description of Elective Experience:
Small animal general practice in busy Columbus suburb. Student will be exposed to SA GP surgeries, wellness visits as well as sick patients/urgent cases. Focus on case workup and client communication.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Digital XR, Digital dental XR, surgical suite, dental suite, ultrasound, rhinoscope, endoscope.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
M-F 8-5, Present and professional, will take notes in exam room with veterinarian, option for surgical exposure also.
