Description of Elective Experience:
Working with small animals practitioners in room and in the surgery suites.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
CT unit, 4 surgery suites, 3 dental stations, digital X-ray, 14 exam rooms, rehab department
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
4 -10 hour days. General surgical knowledge, exam room discussions, handling skills and general medicine discussion
