Description of Elective Experience:
An interactive student externship offering unique experience in a corporate practice setting. The student should gain experience with decision-making, diagnostics, physical exams, hands-on and technical skills.
We are staffed with registered veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, customer service associates, DVMs, practice manager, and chief of staff. We have digital radiography, anesthesia, dental equipment and digital dental x-ray, in-house CBC/Chem machines, fecal flotation, urinalysis etc., and the ability to send off further testing to the reference laboratory.

The student will work alongside their mentor doctor for shadowing and hands-on experience for a comfortable learning experience. The hours are generally 8:30 or 9AM to 7PM for 9 out of 14 days.
