Description of Elective Experience:
Will get experience in surgery and medicine working with mulitple veterinarians. Assist in cases and go over treatment options. Will have case discussions as well. We have a highly trained and very supportive para staff team that make a great learning environment.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Will work 5 days per week working with coach veterinarian. Often work about 40 hours a week. There will be shadowing and working on cases with doctor as well.
