Description of Elective Experience:
Shadowing and practice of veterinary medicine paired with coach/mentor Dr. for duration of externship and tailored to individual students' interests and skillset in a fast-paced small animal practice
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
multiple anesthesia carts, 2 high speed dental units, digital rads, fully staffed with mostly cvt
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
8-10 hr shifts for <40hrs/wk (open weekends and most holidays but flexible)
