Three full fime DVM's 1 part time DVM, 1 RVT, 12 VA's, 4 receptionist, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, full labratory with CBC Analyzer, two Idexx Catalyst, UA Sedivue Analyzer, PT/PTT, Snap Pro readers, full surgery suite.

We have a detailed guide that students can expect to follow while working along side her coach doctor.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?: 

Participants in the DVM Externship Program experience the typical caseload of a small animal practice. Under the supervision of their coach doctor and in accordance with the state’s practice act, she will gather histories, perform complete physical exams, develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans, scrub in to surgery, assist in the management of medical cases, provide wellness care, develop client communication skills, polish her clinical/technical skills and learn Banfield's approach to business.
