Description of Elective Experience:
If you are considering a career in mixed animal practice, come spend some
time with the Barta team in Independence, KS! We are a three-doctor
practice with a strong support staff that provides you with an excellent
learning opportunity. We enjoy a busy and diverse caseload while equipped
with digital x-ray, ultrasound, therapy laser, indoor squeeze chute and
power float equipment.

Physical exams
Formulate treatment plans
Diagnostic interpretation
Primary surgeon - spay/neuter
Assisting surgeon
Dentistry - prophylaxis & extractions
Client communication
Obtaining medical histories
Anesthesia planning & monitoring
Maintain medical records
