Description of Elective Experience:
Busy small animal practice with boarding facility and grooming. Support staff of 18. 30-40 appointments per day, 1-2 dental procedure & 3-5 surgeries (soft tissue and bone surgeries). Lead by Gamal Guirges, DVM with over 40 years experience in practice.

Fully equipped small animal hospital including digital xray, full inhouse lab, surgical suite, ultrasound, cold & cutting laser,
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
3-5 days per week, (Tuesday - Saturday) hours are 8:30am-5:30pm weekdays, 8am-430pm on Saturdays, . Depending on competency of the student shadowing or actual support in seeing appointments, dental procedures and surgery under the supervision of the DVM.
