Description of Elective Experience:
We are a mixed animal practice. We complete surgeries almost daily. We perform herdworking on site and on farm. We see a large number of feline and canine in the office.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
40 HOURS PER WEEK. MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY. IF STUDENT WORKS A SATURDAY THEN HE WILL HAVE ONE DAY OFF DURING THE WEEK. OUR DAY IS USUALLY 8AM-5PM TUESDAY-FRIDAY, MONDAY IS 8AM-6PM, AND SATURDAY IS 8AM-2PM.

Our semi private basement has bedroom/bathroom/living area. No kitchen but a microwave and skillet upon request.
