Description of Elective Experience:
Small animal predominate general practice. This experience would include exposure to genral veterinary medicine practices like vaccine schedules, and general surgeries. Exposure to business managment practices for interested students.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Small library, internet access, idexx sedivue, catalyst, procyte, digital radiography.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
44-48 hours per week.
Student Housing (include costs, amenities, pet friendly, contact info if different from elective contact info):
We have a room in the basement of the practice with a couch and or room for an air matress. Shower and bath facilities are available in the clinic as well.
