Description of Elective Experience:
Elective experience may include assistance in physical care of animals, proper animal handling and restriant, medication administration, blood draws, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring during surgery, etc.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
We are a full service vetrinary hospital with 3 to 4 doctors on staff daily.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Student is expected to work Monday- Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday 9 am to 4 pm.
