We are a busy 4 doctor small animal/exotic veterinary hospital located in Chester, NJ. Our hospital is very well equipped with the latest in ultrasound, digital dental x-ray, digital x-ray, K-laser therapeutic laser, Toshiba ultrasound, full in house Idexx lab equipment, and much much more. We have a traveling board certified internist and traveling board certified surgeon that visits our hospital 1-2 times a week. All proceedures are monitored by licensed veterinary technicians, or the veterinarian. Student will be exposed to all aspects of a busy small animal hospital
See above. Hospital is well equipped, and each veterinarian on staff has their own area of expertice. We hope to expose the studet to all areas in hopes that we can stimulate their interest in these various areas and to improve their expertise in areas of veterinary medicine and surgery.
Student will be expected to be at our facility 4-5 days a week, depending on their desired schedule. We would like the student to spend at least 1 day in surgery, and then work with a different veterinarian the other 4 days a week in order to see different aspects of veterinary medicine and to be exposed to different perspectives in veteirnary medicine. Being a multi-doctor practice we have ability to adjust the students experience to suittheirspecial interests and needs.
