Description of Elective Experience:
BluePearl Veterinary Partners - Arizona Region - is comprised of 4 locations [Avondale, Peoria, Scottsdale, and Phoenix]. Our Scottsdale and Phoenix locations offer IM opportunities. Otherwise, we are solely a 24 hour ER facility.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Students are coupled with most often our day DVM since they are also our most senior consistent staff. They will be under direct oversight of the dvm during their time with us. They are scheduled commonly as an ER clinician with 6 shifts in a two week period.
They are expected to be present for day and night rounds
Pending on clinician's comfortability - client communication, SOAPs and estimates, assistance in procedures
