Description of Elective Experience:
Assisting with small animal, large animal, exotics, and wildlife in clinic, surgery, and farm calls.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Muliple doctors and registered veterinary technicians. CR radiography (and mobile unit), ultrasound (and mobile unit), in house blood machines.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Expectations for student to be assisting/shadowing owner veterinarian during business hours (9-7 Mon-Thur, 9-4 Fri).
Student Housing (include costs, amenities, pet friendly, contact info if different from elective contact info):
No cost housing available in efficiency apartment above hospital. Would prefer no pets during the two week elective.
