Description of Elective Experience:
We are in the middle of breeding season. So we will be palpating, breeding, flushing, etc.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
We have land lines, computers, and wifi. We have Digital Radiographs, Ultrasound, etc and other modern veterinary equipment.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
We serve breakfast and lunch. We eat at 6 am, then start work after that. Typical day goes to 5 - 6 pm. We expect veterinary student to go to emergencies to learn from and assist veterinarians.
Student Housing (include costs, amenities, pet friendly, contact info if different from elective contact info):
We provide beds and bedding. Washer and dryer but no detergents provided.
