Description of Elective Experience:
Cat Care Clinic in Ormond Beach, FL is a 3-4 DVM high-quality, feline-exclusive, full-service veterinary practice owned by Amber Carter, DVM, DABVP (Feline Practice). We have two other ABVP veterinarians on staff.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
3-4 DVMs, 10 technicians, 3 receptionists, 1 practice manager.
Ultrasound/echocardiography, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, digital radiographs including dental, in-house lab.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00. Students would shadow DVMs and participate in hands on care according to their experience and comfort level.
