Working in a private small animal/pet animal practice. Recommending wellness programs, general surgery, dentistry, and evaluation and complete work up of patients.
A busy two veterinary practice, 5 RVTs, 2 non reg techs, and 2 assistants. Full dental capability, including dental radiographs, new ultrasound equipment, CR digital radiology, full labwork (blood work, urine, cytology, stool), rigid endoscopy, surgical monitoring equipment, and general surgery/orthopedic ability. Clinic is only 5 years old. Educational resources usually use vin.com, and books in clinic library.
Would expect student to be active in treatment and diagnosis of patients. Depending on experience, would be responsible for their own patients under direct supervision of one of our veterinarians. We are open Monday through Saturday, and would expect student to be available for those days.
Housing available at home of owner. Dog friendly, but owner's wife allergic to cats! Meals would be included as part of housing. Would not expect student to pay for housing or food.
