Description of Elective Experience:
9 DVM small animal hospital with dentistry, digital radiographs, in-house laboratory
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Large support staff with 7 RVTs and 12 Veterinary Assistants, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, surgery and dental suite.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Our externs are asked to arrive every morning by 8:00 and stay until 4:30 Monday-Friday.
