Dale City Animal Hospital is an AAHA accredited small animal hospital in Northern Virginia with a high daily caseload. Veterinary students should expect to have a hands-on experience of a general practice providing high-quality routine and emergency medicine.
The Dale City Animal Hospital staff includes multiple experienced doctors, registered licensed technicians and veterinary assistants. The hospital is also equipped with in-house laboratory diagnostics, digital radiography and laser therapy.
Veterinary students will shadow and assist veterinarians with their daily caseload and technicians with patient care and handling. Students are expected to coordinate their schedule with the externship supervisor. The hospital is open Monday through Saturday.
