Description of Elective Experience:
Participate in routine and scheduled farm calls, and emergencies
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
100 percent ambulatory
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Each student's experience will be dependent upon their knowledge and skill level. Students in 3rd & 4th year would be expected to do a good physical exam, list ddx, provide a treatment protocol, & execute it. They should also learn palpation & surgical skills.
