Description of Elective Experience:
The student will have many hands on opportunities including to completing histories, exams, sedation, dentistry, acupuncture, lamenesses including digital radiography, ultrasound and nerve blocks.
If the opportunity arises the student will complete standing castration under supervision as well as aid during emergencies such as colics, lacerations, laminitis, as well as euthanasia.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Student will be performing as much as is capable.
Student will be working 5-6 days a week during the hours that the assigned doctor that day works depending on appointment workload.
Student Housing (include costs, amenities, pet friendly, contact info if different from elective contact info):
Student will stay with doctor in a spare room with zero cost.
