Endless Mountains Veterinary Center, PA (PC)

Description of Elective Experience:

We offer a great variety of small animal and large animal experience here at Endless Mountians Veterinary Center. I think we are a very well-rounded mixed animal practice. The student will have the opportunity to do some work in both areas. We typically have our externs help with our small animal appointments, vaccines, working up cases, seeing some emergencies and sick pets, as well as performing surgeries. On the large animal side, we do a lot of herd health recommendations, pregnancy checks, routine surgeries, and emergencies. We are a 24/7 emergency clinic - so the student would have the opportiunity to see some on-call hours/emergencies as well. We start our week with a doctor meeting between the owners and associates to discuss various cases - the extern would be present for that as well.
