Description of Elective Experience:
Mixed animal practice, large animal emphasis on dairy. Pet animal includes surgery with laser.

Five veterinarians. Support staff includes 6 veterinary technicians, 4 receptionists, groomer, kennel assistants.

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
The student's hours will vary depending on farm animal calls. Dairy visits often start early in the morning. Opportunities to participate in emergency calls may involve extended days.
