Description of Elective Experience:
Student will experience an equine breeding farm with 500 active brood mares and many stallions. They will experience breeding/foaling and general practice
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
Currently 1 veterinarian with 4 person staff. DR, ultrasounds and many other toys.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Responsibilities will depend on student comfort.
