Description of Elective Experience:
See the workings of small animal hospital.
Examinations from wellness to working up non-wellness, diagnostics-bloodwork, X-rays, and ultrasound. Surgeries-spay/neuter to major surgeries. Dentals.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
We have a large library to share with the students. Our staff are very supportive and informative.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
We are open 8-5 Monday-Friday and 8-1 Saturday. Students will be doing a combination of shadowing/hands on.
