Description of Elective Experience:
We work on all species. Spring in Montana presents with quite a few bovine caesareans, colic horses and small animal work. There will be medicine and surgery work as it comes in. Students work up to their abilities and all leave with more abilities than when they came! Work is very hands on.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Students stay with us in our home so they can be available to go out on emergencies and regular shifts. Some days may be long, but others will be shorter. There are a variety of animals to work on that belong to the clinic, so experiennces can be manufactured, if desired.
Student Housing (include costs, amenities, pet friendly, contact info if different from elective contact info):
Generally, $250.00 will cover food and other expenses for a two week period.
