Description of Elective Experience:
Primarily small animal, with a few exotics, pocket pets, wild birds (we work with our local bird sanctuary)
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
We utilize referral hospitals as needed/recommended. We also utilize VIN.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Treatments, gain in diagnostics, client education, share new medical information with us. Aid in formulating and following through with treatments/diagnostics etc. Assisting with dentals and surgery are a possibility.
