Description of Elective Experience:
Small animal medicine and surgery in referral setting.
Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.:
12 vets, from which one european specialist in neurology, one holder of RCVS certificate in anaesthesia. Diagnostic modaities including MRI and CT, full surgical equipment.
Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?:
Normal working day 0800 to 1700, emergency service shadowing voluntary
Student Housing (include costs, amenities, pet friendly, contact info if different from elective contact info):
Room with ensuite bathroom, EUR 120/week. Not pet friendly, no smoking.
