Description of Elective Experience: 

During the externs time here, they will rotate through specialists, 5 days a week putting in 8 hour days, for ideally two weeks

Institutional and Educational Resources - staffing, equipment, etc.: 

Standard operations include advanced technology such as interventional radiology procedures with fluoroscopy, mechanical ventilation, CT scanning, advanced laparoscopy and thoracoscopy, video endoscopy, radio iodine therapy, full in-house diagnostic laboratory, digital x-ray as well as 24/7 emergency services with an ICU lead by a board-certified criticalist. Our LeadER team is also comprised of specialists in surgery, internal medicine, critical care, dermatology, anesthesiology, cardiology, along with excellently skilled technicians and exceptional client service personnel. 

Student Responsibilities - what is expected of students in terms of hours, days of the week, shadowing or actual support?: 

Students are expected 5 days a week, 8 hours a day for a total of 40 hours a week.  As stated above they will shadow our specialists during their time here.
